So before I left work yesterday I asked Mister Nice Pants if he had any tips on getting my internet to go faster again after the virus this weekend.
Oh boy, did he have tips.
Even down to the whole “I can hack into it from my home computer and check things out”.
Seeing as how I didn’t really want my boss to hack into my computer, I jotted down some notes to try it out on my own.
5 hours later, I was a giant ball of stress ![]()
But I must admit, I can now speak geek… and all things virus/spyware related.
I like to consider myself pretty computer savvy, but boy this was a whole new world for me! I was googling stuff like crazy on my phone! I then gave up after 4 hours in and texted Mister Nice Pants, who gave me more stuff to do.
Needless to say, it’s been a long night and things still aren’t normal
I fear I might need to just buy a new computer… but I really don’t want to do that quite yet.
But before all this happened I stopped by Target and picked myself up some tea and these cute new slippers
, so those kinda cheered me up, even though they are somewhat creepy haha

Workout
My goal for October is to decrease my running and increase my fats. So far it’s been good! Yesterday I did a 24 minutes HIIT run, which was different
I figure if I can burn a lot in a shorter amount of time, it’ll hopefully keep everything in my body on track lol
So today I did another HIIT, 27 minutes. And if you’re wondering, yes the odd number IS bothering my OCD ![]()
But such is life.
After my 27 interval run, I decided to do some Pilates. I did strength training yesterday.. aka, I lifted some 5 pound weights
, so today was Pilates.
I ended up doing 20 minutes, focusing on my abs and buttox haha
Love that word. Buttox. Funny to say.

I changed things up a bit because I wanted to try out my chocolate protein… and yea, I think I’ll stick to vanilla in the morning haha
Don’t judge me but I’ve been having a hard time eating enough calories lately. I’m not sure what it is… and it’s bad because I need to make sure I’m getting enough for Miss Period to stay in my life (lol). I find that when I’m stressed, even if I don’t realize it, I tend to get nauseous and not hungry.
Tsk, tsk, no bueno.
So basically, I’ve been overdosing on the nut butters.
Off to work I go… I’ll try to check in later, hopefully my computer will me back to normal!

LOL speak geek. I can totally understand that one about stress…my boyfriend is an engineer so he does all that jazz for me.
I wish i could help you on eating enough but I’ve never had that problem…the other way around is another story though.

ahh lucky! I wish I had an engineer in my life haha my boss was asking me today about it… not too keen on letting him hack into it though haha
aww I’ll totally switch lol I noticed my problem is I don’t pack enough when I go to work.. def need to really pack lol

It’s really good that you are conscious of the issues you are having with not getting in enough calories. Being aware of the reasoning/motivation behind it is really important.
Something I don’t really talk much about on my blog is that I had a very serious eating disorder all through my early/mid twenties. After years of struggling, I entered an inpatient treatment program to get help.
Keep adding in those healthy fats and be very mindful of what is going on with stress/restricting.

oo wow! Thanks so much for sharing… I know I’ve struggled in the past, and feel it’s somewhat coming back, but you’re right… definitely knowing what’s causing it in relation to stress is important.

Hey you girlie… think about what you have told me
more fats, more calories at lunches, etc. you got this!! i hope miss P didn’t go away..but you know exactly what to do to bring it back. for myself, I have really listened to what you and others have said.. just eating extra at all meals, and then still eating subsantial snacks. I find that even though I am adding more calories, I am getting hungrier! my appetite lately has been out of control..who kno adding in more calories would do that? but it must be my body’s way of saying yes yes please feed me more and keep going. ha. You GOT THIS!

Increasing calories can be challenging, but some simple ways are by cooking your foods in butter or oil, adding cheese , switching to a higher fat milk and yogurt, eating larger portions of bread (like whole wheat bagels!) and consuming more nuts/nut butters! Good Luck, I know it can be a challenge if you are stressed and don’t feel hungry, but your body will thank you!

Thanks! I actually never thought about adding in bagels to my routine lol I’ve been having crackers here and there throughout the day so I’m hoping that will also help :p
