My Dad sent me that picture of them the other day… they’ve been sleeping in the basement together in attempts to stay warm in the arctic tundra I like to call home.

He was so funny last night. We have our tree up (no decorations just a plain old tree haha) in our living room. And as I was sitting there sipping my tea, I hear this weird spring sound. I look over and of course, he’s on the one couch arm, reaching into the tree, batting it with his big fluffy paw (or as I like to call them, his “poodle paws”). I started cracking up because, well, I think he’s just adorable!! But he looks at me, gives me that “I’m judging you” look, and DIVES head first into the tree.
I stuck my head under the tree to see that he had created a little bed for himself with the tree skirt. Moments later, I heard this little butt snoring away.
Suck a stinker.
I’m hoping to get a video of him doing it for you all one of these days Because I really do find it adorable
This week is flying!
I can’t believe it’s Thursday already… I’m not complaining though This weekend I have another race! My sister is going to join in this time… so it should be fun.
I got some candy cane socks at Target yesterday and have to go back today to get a pair for my friend.
We’re planning to dress up like Christmas lights. One will be red, one green, and one gold. Her boyfriend is going to be orange again in attempts to save his money
And yes, I’m well aware we’re going to look hysterical hahaha I plan on running a 12 min mile pace this time, manly so everyone can see these babies
I ran today It was on my schedule so I figured I’d stick with it—especially since the snow seemed to be semi melted. I did a quick 3 mile run just to practice for the race—nothing too crazy and out of the ordinary though.
This week I started doing some HIIT workouts that I used to love back in the day. And boy, am I feeling it now! My arms have been super sore! I really forgot how killer burpees and pushups were!
This routine in particular really killed my arms lol:
Total: 18 minutes
18 rounds- 10 seconds rest/50 seconds work
Burpees with fitness ball
High knees with jump rope
Toss and catch ball crunch
Repeat 3 times
And yes, I still do hate burpees
It’s been super cold here lately… like in the 30’s (20’s in the mornings), so tea has been my BFF and as I’m drinking my 3+ cups a day, I realized I have this funny habit… I have specific mugs for different times of the day.
I have a breakfast mug, an after work mug, and a bed time mug.
Breakfast mug varies from my Lake Placid clear mug and this mug my Priest got me:
He got all of us matching mugs last year for Christmas haha
Afternoon mug= orange pumpkin mug or local newspaper mug I got from a golf outing (haha)
Bed time mug= Green Christmas tree mug
Like if one of these mugs are missing from my cabinet my world seems out of balance. Not really, but you get the idea
