Happy Friday Friends!
I took off yesterday because I woke up super sick. I kinda knew it was coming because Wednesday I just felt “off”… by that night I was basically near death (not really lol) and passed out early.
My boss was nice about it though—I figured he didn’t want me coming in to get them all sick again since they all had this.
Oh winter colds, how I’ve missed you….
I basically lived off tea yesterday.. but that’s nothing too new in my life
Found my old “R” mug in the back of the cabinet… I have so many I forget about some haha!
Since I was sick I decided to skip any form of real workout and ended up doing some yoga later in the day. I usually watch some podcasts on itunes (free ) which are pretty peaceful.
That and I put my Christmas lights on in my room
I ended up doing a nice flow with lots of sun salutations. I’ve noticed I’m a lot stronger than I was 4 days ago and can hold the crow pose for quite some time My ultimate goal is to do a handstand—I know, probably not the most impressive thing, but something I’ve always struggled with haha
I’m pretty sure I passed out during the last 5 minutes of the video. Not sure if it was the yoga or my cold
I’m still sick today… woke up with a fever which is no fun. And even though I’m miserable and cold, this email from my Mom did cheer me up a bit
She said it’s basically my future
I gotta get me one of those!!
I’m off to the Doctors now, fingers crossed they give me something that will get me well!! Then I might head over to the library because I’m in the mood to watch Lord of the Rings lol
Not sure what I have planned for this weekend… probably just living off Dayquill and tissues
