Happy Monday

And again, thanks Katie for keeping it positive

Today I start my new job Can I just say… I’m so nervous.

Friday was possibly the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.  Leaving them was like leaving my family/a breakup.  I think the hardest thing was saying goodbye to my nice boss (we were like BFFs).  Hugging him goodbye was so sad because I could just tell how upset he was.  But he said he will call me and we’ll stay in touch

Me and my friend in the office are planning on getting together once a week to catch up and stuff… so we’re def gonna be friends still (especially since we live 10 minutes away lol)

And the guy who is in love with me there didn’t even come in… he’s beyond devastated, but I said my farewells to him on Thursday and told him when he’s ready we can be friends.

I just never thought it would be that hard.  They ended up giving me a big thing of flowers, jewelry, a Hello Kitty water bottle (cause I drink a ton of water and love that cat haha), and a sweet card.

My boss let me out an hour early and my friend helped me pack up my desk.  And I’ll admit, I cried like a big baby on my drive home. 

I ended up stopping at my Mom’s work and crying to her for a little bit before heading home lol sometimes you just need your Mommy

This weekend, if you follow me on instagram, you probably saw that I went a wee bit cat crazy I’m a cat lady at heart

But really… how could I NOT take pictures of this face hahaha he was quite lovable this weekend, I think he could sense I was stressing

Fun Fact about Jackson: He’s not as sweet and innocent as he appears in pictures He’s actually quite vicious… we had one woman who was going to groom him calling my Mom crying/begging her to pick him up.  He does have a temper that little one… never towards me though, I think it’s cause I use the baby talk to him

I also managed to get 2 runs in this weekend!! Proud??

Also, I wanted to show you how someone looks after running during a wind advisory weather statement…  yea, totally didn’t realize it was going to be that challenging when I stepped out haha!

Crazy I’ll tell ya!

I didn’t see any boys this weekend but that’s an entirely different story lol if you guys are interested that is

And since I gave up eating the same thing everyday for lunch for lent, I think I’ll be trying out some of their recipes and combinations So far I’ve been good!!  

Alright, off to my first day at the new job! I’m super duper nervous….
